Nobel Prize in Chemistry Awarded to Dr. Akira Yoshino
Charlotte, NC - Daramic, LLC (http://www.daramic .com), a fully owned subsidiary of Asahi Kasei is honored to announce that Dr. Akira Yoshino, honorary fellow of Asahi Kasei Corporation, will jointly receive the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with two scientists for the development of the lithium-ion battery (LIB).
